Caprice Chalet - Cafe Rooms

At the Caprice Chalet, you can create different themed rooms and rent them to characters in the game. Only certain themed rooms can be rented out to characters and must have specific items placed in them to fit into a rental category. This post will look at the Cafe themed rooms and renting them to characters.

Cafe themed rooms are set up like a small cafe and the room must be decorated with certain items to be catergorised as a cafe and not a bakery or kitchen. The room must have at least two cafe tables with chairs, a cafe counter and a cafe sign. There are a few different types of cafe signs you can use and they are found in the Shop Resources category. Other ideal miniatures you can use to decorate a cafe themed room include cafe doors, desert or bakery themed food miniatures and cafe shelves.

Characters will appear at your boutique with a small house symbol above their head. Select this character and they will tell you how they noticed a room at the Caprice Chalet that had a certain theme. With bakery themed rooms, the character will talk about how they've been wanting to throw a banquet for a long time but haven't been able to find the perfect venue. They will mention that they saw a room at Caprice Chalet that would be perfect for it.

The character will request to rent the room out and you can either select yes or no. The rental periods for rooms is 24 hours and renting out rooms is a good method for earning money without effort in the game.

Characters will stay in the Caprice Chalet room for about 24 hours. When you visit the Caprice Chalet, rooms that are rented out will have a small person icon displayed on them. If you select this room during the rental period, the character will tell you how they are going or how business is doing. Visit the room after the 24 hour period and the character is ready to leave the room. They will thank you for allowing them to rent the room and tell you how they went. The character will then pay you the rental fee for using the room. The rental fee for cafe themed rooms is $1000.

  1. I uh, actually have a cafe with no cafe sign or counter. I have a Natural Counter with an Ornate Till, 3 tables, 3 lamps, a rug, a window, a group of 3 paintings, the same door you do, 8 chairs, and a plate, a teacup, and a teapot. Wall is the same, but with different flooring.

    1. That design should work because you have a counter with a till and the chair layout. I just put the cafe sign and cafe counter in to help people choose ideal items for creating a cafe room. It's always great to experiment with designs :)
